In celebration of the first solo exhibition in Geneva, of works by the renowned Iranian visual and performing artist, this book assembles for the first time a panorama of the extraordinary range of Derakshani's paintings in eleven series. The book includes eleven of his poems and more than 250 reproductions of Derakshani's fantastic oeuvre. This beautifully illustrated 300-page book contains an interpretive essay on Derakshani's works co written by Roxand Zand and Sussan Babaie, as well as an artist biography. In addition to the lavishly illustrated catalogue edition, there are 30 numbered Deluxe Editions each including an original signed work on paper by the artist.
